Terms of Service.

By accessing the English Jan Android app (the service), you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms of service and the privacy notice. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

You must be at least 13 years of age, or the minimum age required by your country to consent to the processing of personal data online, whichever is higher. If you are under 18, you must have the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

English Jan is a digital preparation workspace for the TOEFL examination. It includes study surfaces for grammar, vocabulary, reading, listening, speaking, writing, review, analytics, and related tools.

Access to premium study surfaces requires an active subscription. Some parts of the service (including privacy and support pages) are available without a subscription. We may add, change, or discontinue individual features at any time; we aim to do so without reducing the overall value of your current subscription.

The service uses Google sign-in as its single authentication method. You are responsible for the security of the Google account used to sign in. If you suspect unauthorised access, change your Google password immediately and contact us.

• You may hold only one personal account at a time.
• Account sharing between multiple individuals is not permitted.
• You are responsible for the accuracy of any personal information associated with your account.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, applicable law, or Google's authentication policies.

English Jan offers the following subscription plans:

• Monthly — USD 10 per month, renewing every month.
• Quarterly — USD 25 every three months, renewing every three months.

Prices are listed in US dollars. Google Play displays the local-currency equivalent and any applicable taxes before you confirm a purchase. Android app subscription billing is handled exclusively by Google Play.

By subscribing you authorise Google Play to charge the listed price at the start of each billing cycle until the subscription is cancelled. Renewal prices are the listed prices on the day of renewal; we will not raise the price of an active subscription without notifying you in advance and giving you a chance to cancel before the new price takes effect.

You may cancel your Android app subscription at any time from the profile screen or directly in Google Play (Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions).

Cancellation stops future renewals. You keep access to premium surfaces until the end of the billing period that you have already paid for. For refund questions beyond cancellation, see the refund policy.

You agree not to:

• Resell, sublicense, or publicly redistribute any part of the service or its content.
• Scrape, systematically copy, or use automated tools to extract content outside of normal human study use.
• Attempt to circumvent authentication, access controls, or subscription checks.
• Upload material that infringes third-party rights or violates applicable law.
• Use the service to harass, threaten, or abuse other users or our team.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section. In cases of serious misuse we may also cooperate with law enforcement.

All study materials, text, audio, code, and design on the service are owned by English Jan or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Your subscription grants you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use the study content for your own TOEFL preparation only.

Anything you create inside the service that is personal to you (notes, saved words, drafts, progress data) remains yours. By storing such content on the service you grant us a limited licence to host, back up, and process it as necessary to run the service.

Our processing of personal data is described in the privacy notice. By using the service you agree to that processing. You can request deletion of your account at any time by following the steps on the account deletion page or by emailing support.

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that you will achieve any specific TOEFL score, that the service will be uninterrupted, that content is free from errors, or that it will be compatible with every device or network.

TOEFL is a registered trademark of ETS. English Jan is an independent preparation tool and is not endorsed or approved by ETS.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, English Jan and its contributors shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use or inability to use the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim arose.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for matters that cannot be excluded under applicable law (for example, wilful misconduct).

We may update these terms from time to time. If a change is material we will notify you by email, by an in-app banner, or both, at least 14 days before it takes effect. Continued use of the service after the effective date means you accept the updated terms.
